Pick out the items you wish to swap
Pull out all those FABULOUS items in your closet you no longer wear. Clothing, shoes, handbags as well as accessories. Don’t be afraid to choose expensive items, you are never under any obligation to swap. If you want to get something fabulous and expensive, you must be willing to put up your own something fabulous and expensive.
Tip
Only put up high-quality items in good condition. Don’t waste your time on old t-shirts or cheap goods.
Take photos of the items you want to swap Using a digital camera, put your item in good natural light and turn the flash off your camera. Use a neutral background like a wood floor or beige carpet that is near a window for strong, diffused light. You can take several photos of your item, highlighting the front, side and back. Be sure to photograph and document any flaws or damage so fellow swappers know exactly the condition of your item.
Locate the best category for your item to be listed in Choose from our scroll down menu the category that most accurately describes the item you are listing. For example, be sure that if you have a dress listed, you are in the dress category of clothing, list it under the appropriate designer and size as well. If we don’t have your designer listed, please use the suggest a category button and we will try and accommodate your designer of choice.
Upload photos into your account and create accurate item descriptions Put up the best representations of your item for swap, rate the item using our five star rating system and as accurately as possible, describe your item to other swappers. Be sure and include brand name, where purchased, when it was purchased, for how much it was purchased and the size and measurements of the item you are listing. The more accurately you can describe the item the better for all involved. Remember, this site is based on a feedback system, the better your score, the more desirable you are to other swappers and the more likely you get included in those “to die for” swaps!
Shop around the site for other fellow swappers who are of similar size and taste Once you have found items that you would like, contact the other swapper and suggest a swap. Tell them to check out all of your items and see if there is anything they like. Tell them the item(s) of theirs you are interested in and ask if they are interested in anything you have for swap. If they are not interested in anything you have, you can always offer to purchase the item using our “make a cash offer” button.
Once you and a fellow swapper have agreed to a swap Remove your item from your listings and agree to a date when both of you will mail the item to each other. You can use USPS priority mail and they will provide you with free boxes. Really easy! If you have purchased the item (or sold something), after the money is collected by the seller via paypal, the item should be mailed out within a day or two. Be sure to include shipping charges when you accept an offer for payment.
When the items are received, be sure to leave feedback for your fellow swapper Be sure to use the feedback system whenever there is an exchange. This helps all members establish credibility and trust on our site. If you have an issue with an item, contact the other member and see if you can work it out. Always assume that there can be a reasonable way to handle disputes and make a good, honest attempt before leaving negative feedback for a fellow swapper. If you feel like there has been fraud committed on our site by another member, please report them. Will we do our best to investigate fraudsters and have them permanently banned from the site!
